It all started when everyone was so intrigued by my maiden name, which Is Diamond. It was so ironic that my surname is Diamond and I studied Jewellery. My fellow student friends started calling me Shani D, so when starting my business it was the name that stood out the most and reminded me of the really amazing years I had while finishing my studies.

While completing my studies I just fell more and more in love with creating unique jewellery pieces, pieces that would emphasize the beauty of the person wearing it. Jewellery should never hide or overpower but simply complement. We should celebrate the best of what life offers, and a jewellery piece will form part of your special moments and memories.

My designs embody a soft but yet trendy feel, and as each piece is individually created it will always be unique. Less is always more, I love using minimalistic lines and adding personal detail.
